Join Us

Our charter currently includes the following field of membership to the Virginia State University Federal Credit Union.

  • Virginia State University faculty, staff, contract employees, alumni, and students.

  • Immediate members of their families and any organizations of such persons.

  • Employees of the Petersburg Public Schools & Chesterfield County Schools.

Eligible candidates may join the Virginia State University Federal Credit Union by completing an account card at the credit union office.

When applying for membership, you pay a minimum of $7. The credit union’s membership fee is $2, and the remainder is deposited to your share (savings) account.

When you become a member of Virginia State University Federal Credit Union, you are not just a customer, you become family.

What’s needed to join:

  • Students – Driver’s License/ State ID and Student ID

  • Alumni – Driver’s License/ State ID and Proof of Attendance

  • Immediate Family – Driver’s License/ State ID and Associated Relative
