"OUR MISSION STATEMENT" The mission of this Credit Union shall be to emphasize it as a member organization and provide maximum quality financial services to it's members. Communication to it's members and openness within the constraints of the law shall be necessary requirements from the staff, volunteers and Board of Directors.
"What is a Credit Union?" A Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative that exists to serve their members. Because it is a cooperative structure it is tax exempt. Credit Union earnings are used to meet member's needs. The membership elects the board of directors to represent them. There are no outside stockholders; only members.
"Who can join us?" The field of membership is limited to those having the following common bond of association, occupation or residence: Faculty, Staff, Alumni and students of the Virginia State University; members of their families and any organization of such persons.
